David Oosha Carter
A 17 year old hybrid (half Tyrusian, half Human) who's destiny is to save both Earth and Tyrus from Dragit's wrath. David is the son of Cale and Rita and the prince of Tyrus so to speak. There isn't enough information about his early years other than he, Rafe and Rita constantly moving around to stay away from 'trouble'. When David was young, around the age of 2, Cale left him to lead the fight against Dragit. Ever since then he was told that his father died long ago. Now he knows the truth and hopes to find him, and possibly his mother, during his fight with the help of some new allies.
Cale Oosha
The rightful ruler of Tyrus. He came to Earth over 17 years ago to achieve a peace and trading deal with the inhabitants. His Uncle Dragit, however, had a different idea in mind. Cale didn't agree with his uncle's ideas and was sent fleeing for his life along with his bodyguard Rafe. The two stumbled upon Rita. Of course the usual story happens. Boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, girl had child, boy leaves to save Earth and his home planet. Cale leaves about the time David is 2 to lead the fight against Dragit. He also orders Rafe, his guard and friend, to stay behind and protect David since he is the 'future of Tyrus'.
Rita Carter
A rockhound from who knows where. Nothing is said about her past. Only at the point where she first meets Cale and Rafe. She fell madly in love with the crowned Tyrusian and bore a child by the name of David. She has been spending her life trying to keep everyone alive for Cale. At one point she tells David that Cale died when he was young in order to keep him from harm. Rita also made sure that Rafe was not to tell him of his past but to protect him in order to possibly live a normal life. That all ended after the Boston Museum incident. Her where-a bouts are currently unknown after her disappearance into the crystal
orb.
Rafe
Cale's lead royal guard and friend. He is best noted for his work at destroying the herd of manglers atop the oil reservoir during the first episode. He
was told by Cale to protect David and to teach him (it may be a mixture of both his heritage and of the Exotar). However, Rita forbade Rafe any rights to telling David of the other half of his heritage. He manages to get the position of Sheriff in GlennPort.
Jim Bailey
David's best friend and companion. He still has a mother and there is nothing said about his father. Jim works at a burger stand in the local mall and seemed to have a nice life till David's house disappeared one night. He soon finds
himself stuck in the quest to save Earth. "Ask me how I feel about naked native women?" is Jim's trade-mark phrase.
Doc
A renegade Tyrusian who only wants to live in peace and stay out of trouble.
However, he got himself into trouble when he saved David from Blue's claws and
jaws. He use to work at Charles Air Force Base, about 16 years ago, before he
went "native". Doc was first going to let David go off on his way and
decided to join up in helping the Ooshati so that David didn't get all of the
fame.
Blue
Blue is your average mangler who likes meat and doesn't skimp on the bones. He
was originally a member of one of Dragit's forces, bread to kill. Then, like
Doc, he went native. Doc pulled a thorn out of Blue's foot and Blue has been
with him ever since. Blue got his name because of his skin color, and it being
different from the usual manglers. His duty is to protect Doc and his friends
for a slab of meat.
Major Phil Stark
Stark and Romar can be best summarized by The X-Files. Stark is Scully and Romar
is Mulder. Stark sticks to what he knows best. A very straight-forward guy, but
that changes when it comes to government secrets. Stark doesn't like people
pushing him around, nor does he like to be shot at.
Sergeant Angela Romar
A military girl who takes *crud* from no one (I'm trying to keep it clean-lol).
Romar believes in the unnatural and the unexplainable. There is little info
about Romar, other than the fact that she likes to read. But hey, she takes her
chances on life and it's brought her this far.
Dragit
The evil overlord who only wants what he considers to be "the best for
Tyrus". If that involves taking over Tyrus, trying to kill off family
members, and trying to destroy an alien home world who poses no threat to
you...then yeah, he's doing the best for Tyrus. Aside from his mastermind genius,
Dragit is the most evil uncle that I have ever seen. His plans have been overly
elaborate even for most villains, but that adds charm to his character. Truly
one of the greater evils to have existed.
Colonel (General) Konrad
Konrad is the first Tyrusian to lead the invasion of Earth under Dragit. He
loyal and intolerable, not to mention a bit high-strung at certain times. Unfortunately,
he was short-lived during the series but he has been something of fear to many
in the Tyrusian chain of command.
Colonel (General) Gordon
He worked under Konrad at Charles Air Force Base until the General died. He was
promoted and all he really seems to do is get in Stark and Romar's way until
they join up with David. All Gordon really does is take Dragit's orders and
follow them, trying to make everyone's life a nightmare.
Dr. Lear
A specialist in genetics. She has worked under Konrad for years developing a
Human-Tyrusian hybrid. The result from one of her attempts is the creation of
her children Simon and Sonia. Her project was going to be cut by Gordon since no
progress had been made since the twins were 'born'.
Simon and Sonia
Dr. Lear's children. They are twins and connected telepathically. They do grunge
work for Konrad and the newly appointed General Gordon. They may hate one another sometimes, but they only have each-other to rely on.
