Stark paced for a moment. Doc was still sitting down. Angie sat down next to Sonia once David had left.

A long silence commenced amongst the four. It was likely, that no one wanted to say...anything of any relevance. Angie was the first to lighten up the mood. "So, Sonia...anything that you can tell us that may help us against Dragit?"

Sonia shook her head. "No. I've been gone too long to have learned of any new information."

Stark took a moment to think to himself. "No back up plans?"

"No. The Moon Base idea was a shock to most of the group here on Earth."

Stark nodded his head. "This may not seem like the most appropriate time, but do you think you can show us some locations leading to a few of the Bounty Hunters? I would like to get rid of them before they get to us."

----

"Not initially, no," Gordon answered. "First we need you to get close to them. To...ingratiate yourself among them. Become a part of their little group. This operation is vital to our plans, Imre. It is imperative that you succeed."

"Anything you say," she replied. "I can do."

"Excellent," He said. "Intelligence will brief you on the specifics. Don't forget to stop into supply on your way out; they're instructed to issue you anything you
request-within reason, that is. With only one exception. No Tyrusian technology."

"Not even that Yosh com--" she broke in.

"Especially not. And please, don't use that word. I've warned you before."

"But you were the one who I learned--"

"Well, unlearn it. We cannot allow anything that might lead them to suspect you. Not after..." He trailed off meaningfully.

She stiffened slightly, stung by his last remark. That had been a long time ago. She'd been a rookie then, anyway.

"Yes sir,"She said, her voice chilly. She'd show him. Both of them."Will there be anything else, sir?"

"I believe our business here is concluded," He smiled slightly, satisfied with the affect his words had had on the young woman. Nothing like a little wounded pride to improve performance."Dismissed, soldier."

She saluted quickly and strode out, nearly slamming the door as she left.

Gordon turned to Lomac, who had been silently observing them both. "So?" He asked. "What do you think?"

----

Sonia was not giving any straight answers. It was obvious that there were things that she had to keep covered up. But now was not the time. She had answered Stark's question earlier and was willing to help out in locating the assassins; of course she was hesitant.

Stark couldn't blame her. These were the only people who she could barely rely on for such a length of time. Now she had to betray them to do what was right for her.

Stark remembered the war as if it were only yesterday. That one battle that decided everything. Bullets flew left and right, hitting nothing but sand and air. Luckily his chopper crashed and the crew was unharmed, but this was his first time in combat. In actual combat.

Srgt. Philip Stark from the United States Army had flow for the past 8 years and received medals of bravery in this war for rescuing a few men. But now, he was the one in need of rescue.

The plan was simple. Stark was supposed to take back to base army men and marines, those who have served with him for the past year and a half, and turn them in. They were all believed to be spies for the enemy. It was either turn them in or Stark would receive a dishonorable discharge and his life's work would have been destroyed in an instant. His family's honor and pride would forever be tainted by his one mistake. And now, the mess he had gotten himself into...

Stark was snapped back into reality when Romar prodded him with a question. "How long have David and Jim been gone?"

He looked down at his watch. "45 minutes."

"Think they ran into some trouble?"

"Let's just hope not."

----

David parked the car outside of the house. Jim's mom had left awhile ago and the house seemed quiet from the outside. David silently turned the car off and left to the house. Jim remained in the car for a moment afterwards then followed.

"So, what now?" Jim asked as David opened the garage door.

"What do ya mean?" David closed the door after Jim and they entered the house through the basement.

"You know.... What about Sonia?" Jim persisted.

"Jim, sometimes you are really--" David sighed. "I don't know."

Jim lowered his head. "Think she's still here?"

"Probably. Where else would she go?"

"David?" Jim looked up at his friend, now heading upstairs. "Can we trust her?"

"How the hell should I know..." David opened the basement door, "I don't think she even trusts us." He said in a lower voice to Jim as they headed into the living room.

Angie stood up. "There you guys are. Iris keep ya long?"

"Nah--just had to tell her stuff. And you know Iris. She'll always try to keep me there longer." David smiled weakly, then headed upstairs to his room.

Sonia watched him, then quickly averted her gaze when Angie smiled at her.

Stark rose from his seat to follow David, when Doc's firm hand fell upon his shoulder. "Let him go. We all know he's just gonna leave the house again through his back window." Doc chuckled.

Stark smiled for once in a long time. "I'll see how he is later then."

---

David ran to his bathroom rather quickly and to his mirror. He swung it open with a shaky hand. Not again.... he groaned in his head. He grabbed for the bottle of pills and swallowed a couple. It felt like rocks going down his throat. He leaned back on the bathroom door and hugged his knees as he started to shake a tad.

When he felt somewhat stable, he looked at the empty bottle of pills in his hands. "Great. I need more. I should've asked Iris while I was there..." He mumbled.

Pushing himself up from off the bathroom door, he left his room while leaning on the side of the wall. As he made his way down stairs, he stopped dead in his tracks. He heard everyone's voice at once; sounding like indistinct murmuring and his head started to spin. Then the thought of what happened to the man in Iris' hospital popped in his head. /That's gonna happen to me if I don't--/

"David?" Stark's voice came.
